This timeless effect involves passing a piece of nylon cord through the handle of a mug or cup. A spectator holds both ends of the cord and the performer releases the mug from the centre of the cord. Any type of mug or teacup can be used. The mug can be borrowed and the nylon cord can be examined before and after the effect.
