In part one of their Magic Master Confidential Living Room Lecture, Jim Steinmeyer and Robert Ramirez deliver an evening filled with thought provoking insight on production value and incredible stories of magic heroes. It was one of those nights when the master was revealing all of his secrets.
Jim opens with his take on Alan Wakelings Name Matrix. This personalized mindreading miracle is a real fooler with an absolutely shocker of an ending.
Then, Robert Shares with us his routine called Arthur’s Aces. This eye popping ace routine is like nothing you have ever seen before. He uses a very clever construction and some really great DIY gimmicks to make you believe in the impossible.
Jim presents his trick Deepest Sympathy, A small parcel of cards are shuffled and place in a glass. A second set of matching cards is shuffled letting the spectator make all the decisions and placed in another glass. Now inexplicably the two sets of cards match identically! This trick is self working uses regular cards and is a killer zoom trick.
Closing out the night Jim and Robert both did their version of Wakelings Aces Front another mind bending self working trick that is perfect for stand up.
In this, 2nd session with Jim Steinmeyer & Robert Ramirez they present us with even more incredible material and though provoking insight into their theatrical approach to magic. Another fantastic evening filled with thought provoking insight on production value and more incredible stories of magic heroes.
Robert opened the show with his off beat card revelation–Uke-a-Lazy Opener. Take a Ukulele, a silly song and some audience interaction and you get a roaring opening to any show!
Jim presented his, The Vastly Deep, a spooky, hands off, prediction that has the theatrical punch to make this a showpiece.
Then, Robert revealed Duct Tape Paradox, his fresh new take on the classic Afghan Bands using duct tape!
A Case of Collusion is a brilliant card matching prediction that is as clean as it is clever!
PLUS, Jim discussed his work with Simon Drake on the Houdini Needle Trick and Robert closes with Wisdom of the Crowd and absolute impossible Crowd-sourced prediction that you must see.
